Fly Fisherman Christmas Gift Guide: Renzetti Inc.
On the fourth installment of the Fly Fisherman Christmas Gift Guide I’ll highlight a couple my favorite Renzetti products. The other three articles in these series can be found here, here, and here!
Renzetti’s Saltwater Traveler Vise is a must have for any fly tier.
My favorite vise to tie on is the Renzetti Saltwater Traveler. First off, it’s a great looking vise, the matte black looks sharp on my desk and with the variety of colors it comes in, theres a look for any tier.
The jaws of Renzetti’s Saltwater Traveler hold a huge range of hook sizes.
Secondly, it functions expertly for any need. Large streamers can be easily tied with hooks up to 6/0 fitting securely in the jaws. If someone wants to tie smaller flies like nymphs or dry flies, the same jaws holds tiny hooks (think size 30) without having to change out parts.
The large streamer base has the weight and size to keep your vise in one place.

Speaking of hair packing, the Renzetti R-Evolution Hair packer is the go to packer on my bench. What I like about this tool is the ability to get a good grip on the barrel and how the hair gets flared backward when packing. This is a great tool for any tier using deer hair or buck tail for their flies.
This hair packer is easy to hold and gets all the hair packed and flaring backwards.
The last must have accessory from Renzetti is the Tool Bar and Station. This piece of equipment is perfect for keeping all your tools close to hand and in one place. You won’t have to go searching the desk under bags of materials or clippings. They make a 4” and a 6” long bar. It fits snuggly to the stem of any Renzetti vise and swings out of the way when you don’t need it.
The tool bar is perfect for keeping tools within reach but out of the way.
Lastly, one of the reasons why Renzetti is a great Christmas gift is because all their products are made in the United States.
